Parent Council

Our Parent Council was launched in 2023 and is a forum of parents (representing every class) plus the Headteacher and any other staff as required.

The purpose of the Parent Council is to gather parental views on various aspects of school life (as identified by the school or parent community) and work with the school to review policy and approaches, without overlapping with the remit of the PTA or Governing Body.

Our first project has been to review the school uniform policy, gathering views from the parent community on issues such as cost, quality and sizing, as well as researching alternative suppliers. News on the outcome of this project will follow in the Spring 2024 term.

Parent Council membership is reviewed at the start of each academic year, so that all classes have representation. If you would like to contact a member of the Parent Council, please contact the school office or ask in the class Whatsapp group.
